Privacy Policy

The short version

Browsing fxjithin.com collects nothing about you personally. You only share data if you choose to use the trade journal or the Telegram bot — both are optional, and both can be deleted at any time.

There are no adverts and nothing is sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Google Analytics is used to count visits and see which pages are read — details below.

What is collected

Just browsing the site

A visitor counter increments a single total number — it stores no IP address, no device details and nothing that distinguishes one visitor from another. Preferences such as your chosen challenge start date or whether you collapsed a panel are stored in your own browser and never sent anywhere.

Google Analytics is also used to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they use. It sets cookies and processes a truncated IP address to approximate location. It does not identify you by name, and it is not used for advertising or remarketing.

You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, by enabling Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser, or with any standard content blocker — the site works normally either way. See Google's privacy policy for how they handle the data.

Using the trade journal

DataWhy
Trader name you chooseTo label and retrieve your own trades
PIN (stored only as a scrypt hash)So only you can edit or delete your trades
Trade details you enterTo display your journal and statistics
Alert preferencesTo decide when to notify you

Your trader name does not have to be your real name, and no email address or account is required.

Your journal is private by default. Other visitors cannot read it. If you switch on the optional public journal setting, others can see your trades — but never your notes, screenshots or entry, exit, stop-loss and take-profit levels, which are stripped before sending.

Using the Telegram bot (@Fxjithinbot)

When you send /start, Telegram passes the bot:

The bot does not read your other chats, contacts, phone number or location, and it cannot. It only receives messages you send directly to it.

Where it is stored

All traffic uses HTTPS. Economic calendar data is fetched by the server from a public feed; no information about you is sent when that happens.

Data is kept while you use the service. There is no fixed deletion schedule, because you control removal yourself — see below.

Deleting your data

Telegram

Send /stop to the bot to unsubscribe and stop all messages. To have your record removed entirely rather than deactivated, ask via the contact details below.

Trade journal

Use Clear All in the journal to delete your trades permanently. You will need your PIN, since only the owner of a trader name can remove its entries.

Browser data

Clearing your browser storage for this site removes every local preference, including your saved session token.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and no data is knowingly collected from children.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page and noted on the What's New page.

Questions, or a request to delete your data: message @Fxjithinbot on Telegram, or reach out through the social links on the home page.

Not financial advice

Everything on this site is educational. Trading carries substantial risk of loss. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell, and you are responsible for your own decisions.
